On the 4th of August, the International Prayer Movement «God Seekers Movement» celebrated 16 years. The central team and friends of the ministry met to remember together how everything began and renew the vision God laid on their hearts.

The opening prayer and greetings were led by Sergey and Olga Shidlovskiy, the couple who started the God Seekers ministry 16 years ago.

«I give glory to God; it all started with Him, moves in Him, and our goal — this is His goal. For Him, we live and continue to minister», — said the founder of God Seekers, Sergey Shidlovskiy.

«I am thankful to everyone, who serves on our team, for all this time that we walked hand in hand with you, and we supported each other», — said Olga Shidlovskiy, wife of the founder God Seekers Movement.

Then the leadership team of God Seekers shared testimonies. Each family told their journey of how they joined the ministry, and how God called them to dedicate their whole life for the fulfillment of the vision of the Movement — spread the message of the importance of seeking God throughout the whole earth through Bible schools, media, conferences, youth camps, books, etc.

«I believe, that in many more years, we will bring forth more fruit than we brought in the these 16 years», — said director of the project «Penuel» and head of the Bible discipleship school «IPSI School» Alexander Chuvirov.

«Everyday I wake up and think of only one thing — I am happy! Why? Because, we find ourselves in the center of God’s will. And this is the greatest happiness — to know that you are there, where the Lord placed you», — said the director of BOG.TV and head of the creative media group BOG.MEDIA Alexander Evsyukov.

«All of us are on this team because God said for us to go and serve. And our desires and plans are nothing compared with His word», — said assistant to Sergey Shidlovskiy and leader of the «Knowledge of God» Bible School Dimitry Gorlov.

During the time of the celebration, video testimonies were shown from ministers in Latvia, Far East and Central Russia.

The ceremony was held with a friendly atmosphere — the singing of songs, congratulations, a theatrical performance, and a special selection of photos from ministry over the past 16 years.

The holiday was held in the spirit of «everything has only just begun». God Seekers has a big vision — fill the earth with the knowledge of God (Is. 11:9) — and so, with every year, a larger number of people join, projects multiply, and more partners participate. Thanks to the work of the Holy Spirit and the dedicated cooperation of each person, the vision of God continues to be fulfilled, the church is built up, and with more strength the message of the Loving Father Heart of God continues to sound and fill the nations with the knowledge of God (Is. 11:9)!
