“Penuel” prayer retreat helps participants separate themselves from daily routine and to immerse in worship, prayer, and fasting. The God Seekers Movement has been holding it collaboratively with local churches and associations in different cities and countries since 2006. Thousands of Christians from more than 10 countries visited the event.

The aim of the project is for every participant to encounter God in praise, worship, messages, and to put all focus on God.  

• To help every participant to acknowledge God,  to slow down; to immerse in the presence of God through praise, worship, prayers, and sermons; to focus as much as possible on God; to encounter with God, and to develop a closer relationship with the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 32, Psalms 46:10)
• To provide a time for analyzing your personal life, listening to God’s voice, getting a fresh vision, direction from God, and making decisions for change. (1 Tim. 4:16, Hab. 2:1-2)
• To provide time for rest and peace, healing, and recovery (Psalm 62:1, Isaiah 40:29-31). This time is to focus on prayer for personal needs, families, ministry, society, and the nation (James 5:16, 1 Timothy 2:1-4). 

To achieve the goals of the “Penuel” prayer retreat, the schedule consists of two 4-hour sessions a day. Every session includes praise and worship. Prayers include beholding God, intercession for personal needs, prayers for healings, the release of the prophetic word, and other gifts of the Holy Spirit, studying the word of God, testimonies, and personal time with God.
