SERVICE TO PARTNERS

Без имени-1 (1)
Dear Partners!

“He who supplies seed to the sower and bred for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.”

(2 Corinthians 9:10-11)

With gratitude, Sergey and Olga Shidlovskiy

WHAT IS THE PARTNERSHIP?

Partners of the God Seekers Movement are the ministry’s team. They participate in projects with one-time or monthly donations, and with prayers as well.

What to give? Money, prayers, or other?
Who to give? What ministry to partner with?
How much to give?

It is crucial to seek God’s guidance for these questions.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

All these decisions are between God and you. Nobody has a right to pressure you; the choice is up to you. It is necessary to be wise and not make any commitments that can turn into a burden and constant sense of guilt. Referring to his partners, Paul said, “For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. For I do not mean that others should be eased and burdened, but that as a matter of fairness” (2 Corinthians 8:12-13). Some people in the temple judged a widow for giving only two small coins. But Jesus knew her heart and defended her. For Him, she gave more than anyone. First of all, a partnership is not external actions, but the heart’s attitude. Please, let’s always remember that Jesus knows everyone’s heart! Let it make us free from the opinion of people! Also, Jesus values long-term help “from the first day until now”.

PRIVILEGES OF PARTNERSHIP

Becoming a partner of the ministry:

YOU PARTICIPATE IN SHARING THE GOSPEL

“Because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now” (Phil. 1:5) When you partner with any ministry, God sees you as the one who takes part in sharing the gospel, and all its fruit and reward belong to you. Every saved and changed life is a result of your dedication. →

YOU GET SPIRITUAL SUPPORT IN FAITH

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6) Becoming partners of Apostol Pavel, phillipians get a man of faith who stood in faith for them and believed in them.

God’s Word says “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Mat. 18:19). By helping ministers, we are taking part in the salvation of many people. Even when we feel weak, God can move in our life by the person’s faith and make supernatural work in us, through us, and for us.

MULTIPLYING GRACE

“It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense of the gospel” (Phil. 1:7). He gives us grace so that we could pass it on. →

Grace is a supernatural power that works in us and through us. “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me” (1 Corinth. 15:10). So, God’s Word reveals us that Paul was not a self-made person. It was a grace that worked in him. →

It turns out, it was not Paul who brought all fruit to God, but the grace in him. Further, Paul says he saw his partners as partakers of grace. I believe in it. Every time we become a partner to someone, we get a grace that brings success. This is priceless!

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

“For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God” (Phil. 1:8-11)

Reading Epistles to Philippians, we see them as really spiritual people. Of course, they had achievements. But it was through partnership, God’s grace was shown in Paul’s prayers, and letters. ”Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit” (Phil. 4:17). →

INSPIRATION

“I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel” (Phil. 1:12). Every time we hear about success in ministry we support, we get inspiration from God. That is why Paul always told news and testimonies to partners, bringing them joy: “Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me” (Phil. 2:18). →

YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYERS AND THANKSGIVINGS

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy” (Phil. 1:3-4)
Whether we realize it or not, when we partner with any of God’s ministers, we call irresistible desire to pray in his heart; and we get an intercessor as a result. The partnership provides both asking and getting prayer support, which is quite powerful, especially in the spiritual world. How much is the importance of constant blessing prayers for us and our children? Answers for prayers?

In conclusion, I have one thing to say. In spite of partnership bringing much more blessings and privileges than those above, we need to remember that the relationship of partnership does not build on receiving, but on giving from both of the sides.

The Apostle Paul said, “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

With a prayer of blessing,

Your partner Sergey Shidlovskiy
